At the Grammys a few days ago, when Beck won the album of the year, Kanye approached the stage and pretended he was going to say something, but didn’t. Everyone thought he was going to repeat what he did to Taylor Swift a few years back. However, after the show he had an interview, where he stated “The Grammy’s should give Grammy’s to real artist and stop playing with us” which means BECK is not a real artist! What a shame!
This Guy thinks he is God’s gift to Music! I think he does too much drugs. He needs to specially lay low when he attends public events like this. Obviously the drugs are effecting his brain in a negative way.
Anyway, in the last few days a few other musicians have come to the support of Beck, including Garbage’s Shirley Manson and Michael McDonald. Kanye is making a jackass of himself in the music industry.
KISS rocker Paul Stanley also weighed-in, saying Beck should have “kicked Kanye in the nuts.”
Manson posted an open letter to Facebook stating: “It is YOU who is so busy disrespecting artistry. You disrespect your own remarkable talents and more importantly you disrespect the talent, hard work and tenacity of all artists when you go so rudely and savagely after such an accomplished and humble artist like BECK. You make yourself look small and petty and spoilt. In attempting to reduce the importance of one great talent over another, you make a mockery of all musicians and music from every genre, including your own.”
